Basic/cuttingMatch cuts/Transitions: Clues in the name - Transitions are important and convey meaning though.
Kuleshov Effect: Effects of juxtaposition - Through his experiences and research, Kuleshov discovered that depending on how shots are assembled the audience will attach a specific meaning or emotion to it.
Reaction Shots - Clues in the name - (Close up shot, low angle shot)(Anything to show the reaction of the person)
Insert Shots - Shots that are often confines to objects or body parts - characters POV (Point Of View)
Music editing - depending on the music, it creates an affect for the audience depending on the scene.
